Hello! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Brittany and I'm a 25-year-old writer. I'm hoping that this mess of a work in progress I am working on will one day become published :). I'm a perfectionist, and I think that sometimes that hinders the amount of work I get done each day. I also think, in a way, it makes me a better writer. I am constantly researching new ways to improve my craft or challenge myself to become even better. 

Random Facts About Me:

• I am addicted to Starbucks.
• I work in the Steel Industry (not very creative, is it?)
• I just moved 2,843 miles away from my home town in April of 2013

Where it started:

I started writing when I was little, long before I could use a keyboard. My mom would sit me in her lap and type for me, while I narrated to her. Writing to me has been a life long dream, there isn't a time I remember not wanting to be a writer.

This blog was started so others could follow my progress and I could have a reason to "write" even if it wasn't on the book I'm working on. 

What I'm Working On:

I am currently working on a medieval style Fantasy that I started when I was in high school. It was originally intended for Young Adults, but as I age, so does the content. 

I also have a wild imagination - and a lot of that creativity shows up when I dream. For the last year or two I have been having post apocalyptic or horror dreams that are extremely realistic. I have considered taking some of these ideas and turning them into their own novels. Might as well get some use out of them, eh?
